ARW Group LLC, in partnership with Harry E. Kitchen Jr., the President of the Foxfield Company, is creating a one-of-a-kind mixed-use community that will include a man-made river-like water feature surrounded by international restaurants, shopping destinations, luxury residences, a hotel and class ‘A’ office space.

The proposed site is 508 acres consisting of one large land parcel located on north side of Interstate 85 and close to Interstate 985. It is about one mile from Chateau Élan and in close proximity to Road Atlanta.

The master plan has been created in collaboration with Wakefield Beasley Architects and engineering firm Atwell Group. Residential sales will be managed by Funari Realty. Road Atlanta and the City of Braselton are also part of the collaboration. The project is expected to generate $700 million in new construction.

The “river” will flow through the Atlanta River Walk District and will feature a large water art installation, the “Tree of Life.” Around the water way ARW Group will develop an International Village with restaurants and chefs from around the world. The restaurants will be complimented by entertainment venues and unique retail destinations.

A substantial component of the project will be residential development, including town homes, zero-lot-line homes, mid-rise apartments, single-family homes and active living communities for seniors. The Atlanta River Walk will also have class ‘A’ office with a corporate and technology park as well as hotels.

The Atlanta River Walk is the vision of Peachtree City Developer Jorge Duran, who for several years has been seeking a waterfront development opportunity in metro Atlanta similar to the San Antonio River Walk and Oklahoma City Bricktown, two thriving mixed-use communities developed around major water ways.
