About PR South
Communications expert Thornton Kennedy is a writer, a connector and a problem solver. He spent the first quarter of his career in the newsroom as a writer, editor and skilled plate-spinner. Journalism taught him several valuable lessons: tell engaging stories, always be accurate and to the point, get a second (and third) set of eyes on your copy and always beat the deadline. A few years ago he switched over to public relations by founding PR South. He helps companies figure out what they need to say, who they want to say it to and to what end. It doesn't matter if its a big complex company with myriad relationships or just a few partners with a vision, his results speak for themselves. Click over on News to see his recent work. He married a girl he met in a creative writing class in college, and they have two kids — one at University of Maryland, the other at College of Charleston. He is an amateur historian, urban explorer, hiker and a voracious reader. He still writes a weekly column in the Northside Neighbor, which you can read by clicking here.
